Toastmasters is a non-profit organization. It helps people to develop their communication and leadership skills. Toastmasters helps you overcome your fear of public speaking and improve skills you need to enhance your personal and professional life.

Toastmasters is for people who want to develop and improve their communication and leadership skills. Toastmasters members come from various business sectors such as business, clerical and manufacturing people, students. Each contributes with his experience. This is what makes the wealth of ASC Toastmasters Club. There is no discrimination against differences and skills of members.   What is most important, is that everyone improves at their own pace. 

There are several reasons why you should join ASC Toastmasters Club:

  • Our members are dedicated to help you reach your goals of becoming a better speaker, communicator and leader.
  • Our group knows how to have fun while learning. Come to one of our meetings and see for yourself.
  • It’s one of the few bilingual clubs that allows you to practice in either French or English.

Our members are 18 + years old and come from various professions and culture.

Meetings are held every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. We ask guests to arrive 15 minutes earlier which is 6:15 PM.

You will be greeted by a member and matched with an experienced member who will answer your questions about the meeting. During the 10-minute break, you will have the opportunity to interact with all members.

Every member had the first meeting experience and we will ensure to make yours enjoyable. At the end of the meeting, you will be asked to give us feedback of the evening. Please note that you will not be forced to speak if you do not want to.

You will be encouraged to  speak publicly as soon as possible to allow you to progress. We have roles with various difficulty levels. You start with the easiest level roles, and as your comfort zone expands, you take intermediate and advanced role. However, we insist that everyone go at his own pace.
